Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 24, 2026

Oqodo LLC (“Oqodo,” “we,” “our”) operates this website and the software products listed on the products page. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the oqodo.com website and to the Oqodo-operated products that link to this policy.

Each product may have its own additional privacy notice for product-specific data handling. This document is the umbrella policy for Oqodo as a company.

Information we collect

Information you provide to us

We collect information you provide directly — for example, when you create an account in one of our products, contact us by email, or subscribe to a list. This typically includes name, email address, and any account credentials you create.

Information collected automatically

When you use this website or our products, we automatically collect certain technical information including IP address, browser type and version, pages viewed, and timestamps. This information is used for operating, securing, and improving the services.

Information from third parties

Some of our products integrate with third-party services on your behalf — for example, Moxmo uses Plaid to connect to your financial institutions when you authorize it. When you connect such an account, the third party shares specific data with us as governed by their own terms and our integration agreement with them. We only request and store data necessary for the product's functionality.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve our products and websites
  • Communicate with you about your account, billing, or support requests
  • Send service-related notifications about important changes
  • Respond to legal requests and prevent abuse or fraud

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: with vendors who perform services on our behalf (hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery), bound by contractual confidentiality obligations
  • Legal compliance: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we will notify you

Data security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; in the unlikely event of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

Your choices

You can access, update, or delete information in your account directly through the relevant product settings. You can request that we delete your data entirely by emailing hello@oqodo.com. We honor verified deletion requests promptly and confirm completion in writing.

You can revoke any third-party connections (such as Plaid bank links) from within the relevant product or from the third party's own portal.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies necessary for site functionality and basic analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies on this website.

Children

Our products are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

International users

We operate from the United States. If you use our services from outside the U.S., you acknowledge that your information is transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those of your country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our products and the legal landscape evolve. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated effective date, and where appropriate, communicated directly to affected users.
